GPCI is committed to life-long learning and elevation of the grants field. In response to its vision, mission and values, GPCI has instituted a recertification program. Entitled the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP), the program provides an opportunity for individuals to maintain their credential without the burden of re-examination. To support this learning, GPCI has established a mechanism to assist GPCs in determining their best educational or training opportunities through the CMP Accepted Continuing Education Providers list.
Each of the providers on this list have undergone an application process with GPCISM to ensure their training or education sessions adhere to areas of content necessary to maintain the GPC credential. Education is the first of the professional development categories under the CMP process and a maximum of 60 points may be obtained in this area every three years. Formal educational or training programs to update the candidate’s knowledge will be accepted for points, provided the course primarily covers grant competences published by GPCI and meets GPCI’s published Continuing Education Standards.
GPCI maintains an annual list of Accepted Continuing Education Providers. These are pre-qualified providers to offer training accepted by GPCI toward continuing certification and display the CMP Accepted CE Provider logo.
Disclaimer: Please note it is the responsibility of the candidate to confirm the CE Provider has been awarded the GPCI Accepted CE Provider status. Please see the current list above. Participants must check directly with the Accepted CE Providers for applicable number of Education Points available per training. Participants should obtain proof of attendance directly from the Accepted CE Provider. GPCI will not be able to verify your participation.
