Registration
To receive the GPC credential, you must pass the GPC examination. To qualify to take the GPC Exam, all candidates must completed the three-phase registration process outlined below.
Phase 1 – Each candidate will begin the process by filling out a brief survey which will ask your name, the number of years you’ve been in the profession, the number of funded grant proposals you have been responsible for developing in the past seven years, your level of education, and other related questions. The survey will take less than 5 minutes.
Phase 2 – When prompted (usually within 1 business day of Phase 1 completion), you will be asked to submit an Eligibility Packet. This includes your resume, a list of your funded proposals, letters of reference, and other information. The packet will be reviewed by an independent panel of professionals in the field. Within 5-7 business days, we generally notify the candidate as to whether they have been found eligible to sit for the exam.
Phase 3 – Once approved, we prompt the candidate to proceed to Phase 3 of the process: Payment. The registration fee is $400 for GPA members and $525 for non-members.
