Examinations in 2009

The GPCI Board of Directors scheduled four GPC certification examinations in 2009. Additional travel and planning information will be forwarded to those who successfully complete a registration process. For specific questions, contact GPCI Exam Administration . To register, see the Registration page. The 2009 schedule includes sites in New Jersey, Florida, Ohio and Texas.

September 17 in Middletown, Ohio – The AAGP Miami Valley and Cincinnati chapters will partner to host the GPC examination in Middletown, Ohio on September 17 at Miami University Middletown. The exam will be held in conjunction with the American Association of Grant Professionals (AAGP) Southwest Ohio Regional Conference (September 18). The credentialing exam will begin at 8 AM and conclude by 5 PM, local time on the 17th.

The Ohio registration deadline is August 17, 2009.

November 7-8 in Texas – The GPCI Board of Directors, with the ongoing support of AAGP, will host a GPC examination in Austin, TX on November 7 and 8, at the close of the AAGP annual conference. Therefore, as you plan to attend the conference, you will need to take the exam times and dates into consideration. The credentialing exam will be conducted in two sessions – one session for the four-hour multiple choice section and one session for the two-hour writing section.

The Texas registration deadline is October 8, 2009.

Anticipated start time for the Austin exam is about noon on November 7, concluding November 8 by 5 PM (Central Time). All examinees should plan to sit on both Saturday and Sunday for the exam. Earlier registrants will complete the exam process by noon on Sunday; later registrants will complete the exam by 5 PM at the latest on Sunday. The specific location of the Austin exam will be announced in coming weeks. It will be in close proximity to the conference hotel. Registrants will receive information on transportation to and from the venue.

July 23 in Florida (Registration now closed) – Registration is now closed for the July 23 examination hosted by the Broward County (Florida) Chapter of AAGP at NOVA Southeastern University. The exam will begin at 8 AM and conclude by 5 PM Eastern Time in conjunction with the Broward County AAGP Chapter’s conference.

New Jersey Complete - The GPC examination was held in New Jersey in May 2009.

For all GPC exams, regardless of the location, individual times and dates for each examinee are confirmed as candidates complete registration, usually within 24 hours of completing the three-phase registration process. The earlier you register – including the submission of the eligibility packet and payment of the examination fee – the earlier you receive that notification.

If you have questions, please contact GPCI Exam Administration.
